What is the Fit Club?
|

Fit Club is a
unique fitness program designed to
help you achieve the highest fitness
level possible. Fit Club predominantly
focuses on weight loss, but many
athletes have used Fit Club as a training
source because of its diverse and
intense workouts. The Fit Club covers every aspect of
fitness and uses every modality of
exercise to obtain maximum and
desired levels of health and
fitness. |

How
is Fit Club different from group classes? |
|
While
the Fit Club is a group of people
exercising it is different from
group classes in many aspects. Most
group classes only have one
instructor that teaches the class.
Fit Club is lead by two to four certified
personal trainers with many years of
experience. Fit Club is “always different
and never the same” while your
typical group class is the same
routine every week. Fit Club will keep
you on your toes every time you
workout. Fit Club is also offered
practically everyday of the week and
has specifically designed goals for
every workout, every week, and every
month. Most group classes are only
offered once or twice a week. The
biggest difference between the Fit
Club
and group classes is the
accountability factor. If you miss a
group class workout at your local
gym, nobody cares and nobody knows
but you. If you miss a Fit Club workout
at Fitness MD, we’ll know and care,
and we’ll let you know how
much we are committed to you and
your goals. The last thing that
makes Fit Club different from your
standard group class is all of the
tracking we do for each and every
member. Fitness MD will track your
progress through the Fit Club with: body composition
measurements, circumference
measurements, VO2max testing,
metabolic testing, physical fitness
testing, and a multitude of other
measurements. Fit Club is much more than
a group class, it’s the last fitness
program you’ll ever need.

There are certain exercises that I
cannot perform. Can I still
participate in the Fit Club? |
|
Of
course there are certain limitations
to Fit Club when it comes to injury, but
if you have minor injuries that
prevent you from doing certain
exercises, our trainers will find
alternative exercises for you to do
when necessary. The beauty of Fit
Club is
that we have more than one
instructor present so there is
always somebody there to guide you
in the right direction and keep you
injury free. |

Can
I really do this? |
|
While
the Fit Club workouts are difficult, they
are not unachievable. The first two
weeks are very tough for the not so
in-shape crowd. Once you make it
through the first two weeks most
people are able to perform the
workouts at a very high intensity.
Fit Club is designed to challenge
everybody from high levels of
fitness to low levels of fitness.

challenging, why would you want to

Am
I too old or young? |
|
Fitness
MD allows anyone over the age of 12
to participate in the Fit Club.
Fit Club is designed to help
everybody because it is based on
very simple proven methods of
exercise. The average Fit Club member is
in his/her mid 30’s, but our clients
range from 12 years old to 67 years
old. |

How
much does the Fit Club cost? |
|
See your
Fitness MD employee to get the
monthly rate and hear about our
monthly specials, but the Fit Club is
very affordable. The Fit Club works on a
monthly basis, so you pay for a
month’s membership to Fit Club at a time.
Within each month, there is an
average of twenty-five 75 minute
workouts. If you were to get a
personal trainer for twenty-five one
hour sessions it would cost you
about $1,000. Fit Club is about 1/10 that
price! Essentially, you could pay
for a year of Fitness MD’s Fit Club for the price of
twenty-five sessions with a personal
trainer. |

Will I lose weight? |
|
YES! As
stated above Fit Club is primarily
designed as a weight loss program,
so you will lose weight. Not

you offer nutritional guidance? |

After you complete your metabolic
testing we will figure out your
daily caloric expenditures and
create a meal plan for you. Each Fit
Club
member receives his/her own
nutrition book filled with recipes,
meal plans, food diaries, and more.
Fit Club members also have direct contact
with certified personal trainers
that can help guide them to better
health and nutrition. |
